Overview
This guide introduces Pro features. You'll collaborate with your team, use photos and visuals more effectively, talk to CodeBuddy by voice, and get the most out of shared libraries. If you run a small team, you'll also see simple admin controls that may be available to you.
1) What Pro Adds
- Stronger photo support (capture, annotate, send quickly).
- Voice: talk to CodeBuddy hands-free.
- Shared content for your team (documents and visuals).
- Better ways to reuse and organize answers.
2) Team Setup and Collaboration
- Join the team or group your Admin assigns you to.
- Share answers directly from the chat to teammates.
- Use saved conversations for repeat work.
- Agree on a simple naming convention for shared content.
Tip: Keep titles short and descriptive so teammates find things fast.
3) Photos and Visuals
- Add photos from your camera or upload from your files.
- Zoom, annotate, or retake before sending if needed.
- Visuals (illustrations, diagrams, tables) may appear in answers when helpful.
- If a visual looks outdated, flag it for review.
4) Your Team's Library
- Browse your team's visuals library to reuse trusted diagrams or tables.
- Search by topic or Specialist.
- If allowed, edit titles or captions to make them clearer.
- Remove obvious duplicates to keep things tidy.
5) Voice (Talk to CodeBuddy)
- Start talking, then stop when you're done.
- Watch the status messages: listening, thinking, speaking.
- Quick actions: repeat or speak slower if needed.
- If your mic doesn't work, check browser permissions.
Monthly limit note: Phone calls may be limited to 50 calls per month per user depending on your plan. Check with your Admin for details.
6) Simple Admin Controls for Small Teams
If your organization allows it, you may be able to:
- Create or edit Specialists for your group.
- Approve new visuals added by your team.
- Invite or remove people within your group.
When in doubt, check with your main Admin.
7) Best Practices for Team Leads
- Keep shared content clean and up to date.
- Use short, clear instructions for Specialists.
- Give feedback to your Admin about what your team needs.
- Encourage teammates to include photos when a visual helps.
