Start and stop voice, understand status messages, and use quick actions like repeat and speak slower.

When to Use Voice

  • Your hands are full.
  • You're moving or driving.
  • You want quick back-and-forth without typing.

Start and Stop

  • Press the voice button to start.
  • Ask your question clearly.
  • Press stop when you're done.

If your mic doesn't work, allow microphone permission in your browser or device settings.


Status Messages

  • Listening: CodeBuddy is ready to hear you.
  • Thinking: CodeBuddy is working on the answer.
  • Speaking: CodeBuddy is reading the answer aloud.

Quick Actions

  • Repeat: Hear the last part again.
  • Speak slower: Get a slower version.
  • Short version: Ask for the summary.

Try saying:

  • "Repeat that."
  • "Speak slower."
  • "Give me the short version."

If You Have Issues

  • No audio? Check your volume and output device.
  • Not hearing you? Make sure your mic isn't muted and permission is allowed.
  • Bad connection? Try again when your signal improves.
